Swipe to type on smartphones

Testing the new Samsung swipe keyboard called continuous typing. Not bad but could be better. Think Swype is probably better right now. Android 4.2 gesture typing is also better.

Samsung's continuous typing isn't too bad. But Swype is slightly more accurate. What I like though is that both Samsung and Android gesture typing allows you to see the words form in real-time which Swype doesn't.

But the differences between these keyboards are very slight.

Swiping to type is much much MUCH better than thumb typing eg iOS. I simply cannot imagine thumb typing anymore for heavy duty writing on my smartphone.

This is one major reason why geeks prefer Android to iOS. The ability to customize your base OS experience.
