Match report - BBC
Watched the game with 3 Liverpool fans, and managed to escape with no injuries.
On top for almost an hour, ie totally in control, then one defensive lapse - Cleverly/Carrick/Evra/Rafael all culpable - changed the game totally. Sturridge missed over the top, and United managed to hang on for the 3 points.
Still 7 points clear at the top, after Arsenal (or rather, Koscielny) self-destructed against Man City.
The good -
RvP goal was excellent, great movement and passing, and Evra showed his usual tenacity to get the second (I know it went off Vidic, but I still think it's Evra's goal) from a wonderful RvP freekick.
Carrick was his usual reliable and calm self, Rio and Vidic again looked imperious (save for the stupid lapse), and Cleverly and Kagawa looked very useful as well.
The bad -
Wingers are still crap. Young appears out with injury and Valencia is way off form. Why Nani is not playing is beyond me. Surely he can't be worse than Valencia right now, if he's fit?
De Gea had only one real save to make, but he presented Sturridge with an open goal. He needs to practice slapping the ball AWAY from the box, instead of back into danger zone.
