5 questions for the Lakers
My own top 3 questions.
1. Injuries - 3 starters, ie Nash, Howard and Pau have all missed games due to injury, plus our best reserve, Jordan Hill. Not only does this make for a bleak outlook on end-of-season playoff stamina, but now there's even less time to sort out the team's trouble with playbook and chemistry.
2. Howard - his lack of effort and laziness is either a sign of his slow recovery from his back injury (then why the hell is he playing??) or real laziness/disinterest (much more alarming). When he's good, he's really good, but he's got to bring it every game.
3. Trade deadline - will Pau be traded or not? I hope not, but he's not been playing well in D'Antoni's system, and it's looking more and more like he's no longer the player he used to be, or he needs a change of scenery. My guess? He will be traded for a more athletic stretch 4, or picks (and Hill starts).
