cost - $999 at Memory World Funan. the salesgirl who attended to me left me with the impression that she knew the device inside out, which is always a good thing.
i'd recommend it highly to anyone who wants (or needs) a PMP.

archos AV500
indulged myself and bought an Archos AV500, which is a Portable Video (Media) Player. quite good reviews, and although it's screen reso (480x272) is slightly lower than the Creative Zen Vision (640x480), the 4" screen's viewing angle is much better than the Zen Vision's. plus, it records off the TV/DVD too...
